Indian paper tiger deserve to loose

Indian team are only paper tigers. Our team consist of batsmen when combine has more than 35000 runs.
But again they flatten to deliver at crunch time. Indian team should have chased 255 runs.
Here are some things that go wrong:
1 But starting they should not allow Sri Lanka to reach 255 runs. After India won toss ,they should restrict Sri Lanka at 225.After Sri Lanka Top big 3 gifted their wickets.
2 But our World cup selection has wrong from starting. We should have taken Ramesh Powar in West Indies.Because Harbhajan is not attacking bowler in one day.He is more economical bowler. And that hurt India yesterday.SriLankan have milked his bowling easily yesterday.
3 If we look bowling figure then we will observe Agarkar doesnot complete his bowling quota although he bowled brilliantly yesterday..Also I think Sachin Tendulkar bowled beautifully at starting. But he bowls one more over than expected.I think part time should not bowl ten overs because after some time if wicket wasnot falling, then they get used to it.And same happens yesterday. Also overs should be removed from Harbhajan quota insted of Agarkar
4 Also he should bring Munaf Patel earlier insted of Zaheer Khan before settling partnership of Dilshan and Silva.Zaheer is good last over bowler. While Munaf only bowls one length beautifully. There luck help them.
5 Also he has bought Ajit Aagarkar in last over.It is difficult to come and bowl last over directly.
6 Also Indian bowlers give 27 extras of that 14 were wides and many legbyes. That means they bowl legside.

So I think 250 was 20-30 more runs.Though India should have chased it.
1.But again Gangully played slowly and before acceleration he gifted his wicket.
2.Sachin Tendulkar also again owled in an important match.God knows when his problem with incoming delivery and big match ill end?
3.Again Rahul Dravid play slowly at starting and end no one has left with him with run rate climbing.

But SriLanka also plays very well.Actually they play better than India.Their young gun Tharanga and Silva and Dilshan rode on luck and and play beautifully and sensibly. And experiense guys like Vaas ,Murliharan and Jaysurya bowls beautifully. It was masterpiece of bowling by Murli to get ride of in form Virendra Sehwag who was playing straight.

Bob Woolmer-A cricket man 24 -7

Yesterday a great cricket man died.He was 24-7 cricket man.According to him he was never a great player. But He was among the best to make the transition from being a player to a great coach. That's probably what he'll be remembered for the most.Always great player makes a good coach is not true.prime example is Kapil Dev .
Bob Woolmer was also a good player. His array of gloriously timed off-side strokes made him look a better batsman than he was, he had a disappointing Test career -especially for a man who, in only his second Test, saved England as they followed on against Australia by holding out for 499 minutes against Dennis Lillee and Jeff Thomson to score 149. Although he added two more hundreds, also against Australia, he first interrupted his Test career by signing for World Series Cricket in 1977, then ended it forever by joining the rebel South African tour of 1981-82.
His coaching career started at Warwickshire, and he immediately made an impact as the county won a string of trophies in the early 1990s. That led to him being appointed by South Africa in 1994. In his final season with Warwickshire he witnessed Brian Lara make 501 not out for Durham - as a schoolboy at Lahore he had
been present when Hanif Mohammad set the previous record highest score for 499.He has glorious coaching stint with South Africa. He turned the bunch of inexperienced young side into fighting, fearful and all conquering side except Australia .He was instrumental in shaping of careers of Allan Donald ,Jonty Rhodes and Jaques
Kallis. He turned these South Africans to modern Greats. He was very close to Hansie Cronje and that was well documented. After a spell as the ICC's high-performance manager, he was announced as Pakistan's new coach in June 2004, and signed a contract to remain in charge until the 2007 World Cup. But the tournament was, tragically, to be his last; after Pakistan were sent home from the World Cup by Ireland, And he didn't get any chance to brighten his portfolio as a coach because life didn't give him another chance.

As a coach, his pioneering use of computers to show, for example, where opposing batsmen scored their runs may have stemmed from an experience of his own, batting against Mike Brearley's Middlesex. "Knowing I liked he cover-drive, he had Mike Selvey bowling at me wide of off stump, with two slips and two gulley's. In 45 minutes, I scored 12. Then I chased another wide one from Selvey and was caught at second slip."
Woolmer was creative and adventurous. But his coaching was based on a simple premise: the more enjoyable he could make the game, the better his players would respond. No two fielding practices were alike when Woolmer was in charge. He understood players, what worked and didn't work with them.Coaching is man management skill. Most famous example is Shoaib Akhtar which was his biggest challenge. To which I think he
was successful.by seeing his performances against England at home. But Shoaib madness and his injury problem robbed pakistan chances. And black spot has put on Woolmer coaching career
He was Best coach of our generation along with Dave Whatmore,John Buchhanan. He stood there at the top in coaching.Due to this men basic man can understood the importance of coaching in cricket field.Anyway in cricket before that no one knows about coaching methods and startergies. Now a days coach is important part in team due to those men. Thank you Bob for that. And we cricket lovers salute you for your preciously cricket contribution.

Killing of minnows

Yesterday,Holland bowling was destroyed by South Africa. Like mad butcher who go on rampage in killing animals they destroy each bowl after each bowl of Holland for sixes. Poor Dutch they didn't know what had hit them. They are totally bamboozled by last assault. I think their neck should be also paining by seeing up in the sky so often. But Holland had fairytale beginning. If anyone had told me at the start of the match SA would be struggling at 4 for 1 in 5 overs I would definitely slap him.But due to brilliant fielding and discipline bowling this happen. Also they had several chances to run out Jaques Kallis but sadly they didn't take it. If they took then it would be different story.

After that Grame smith 'bully' and Jaques Kallis hunted like starved dogs against medium pacers by charging down the pitch and normal service was resumed.Jaque Kallis played his normal inning to perfectly. But it was Gibbs who stole the limelight for hitting Dan Van Bunge for 6 sixes in an over and winning million dollar price. For a cricketer who has a colourful career that has encompassed match fixing scandals, racism charges and dope smoking and who always rise from phoenix. He is a power hitter and always remembered for his drives.Only in contampory cricket only Michael Vaughen plays off drive better than him.But lofted front foot and back foot drives no one plays better than Gibbs.I still remember first when i saw him in India hitting Ajit Aagarkar for hitting 2 sixes over the cover.
Now this colorful cricketer Gibbs will always remembered for the first batsman who has hit six sixes in an over in international match. There is no denying fact that.He will stand still along with sir Garfield Sobers and our own Ravi Shastri who had achieved this feat. Also Gibbs also be remembered for his incredible batting in Wanderes match when he help SA to win that amazing match while chasing over 430.Also he is famous man who dropped world cup by dropping Steve Waugh in super six match. He has a chance to erase this name by helping
to team to win this world cup to SA.

Now Dutch has 2 sleepless night in store before meeting with Aussies. Now I understand why Andrew Symonds was itching to play aginst Dutch. But for rest of supposed super eight team, their sleep was robbed by SA's yesterday performance.
Here are some of records that happened on that day
Wet weather delayed the start at Warner Park, but when play did get underway it rained fours and sixes as South Africa amassed a monumental 353 in 40 overs. Here are the highlights from the game.

# Herschelle Gibbs made history by becoming the first batsman to hit six sixes in one-day internationals. The earlier record for most number of runs in an over was 30, which Sanath Jayasuriya managed twice, against Aamer Sohail (in Singapore in 1995-96) and Chris Harris (at Sharjah in 2000-01).

# Gibbs's seven sixes in the innings was only one less than the World Cup record for a single innings - Ricky Ponting had slammed eight in that memorable 140 not out in the World Cup final in 2003.

# Gibbs was at his violent best, but by no means was he the only one to wreck havoc. Mark Boucher slammed 75 from 31 balls, and on the way notched up the fastest half-century in World Cups: he got to the mark off 21 balls, bettering Brian Lara's 23-ball effort against Canada at Centurion in 2003. Boucher's half-century was also the first by a South African wicketkeeper in World Cups.

# South Africa's total of 353 for 3 is their highest World Cup score and the best total in a 40-over match, while it was also the fifth-highest by any team in all editions of the tournament. Their run-rate of 8.82 is the fourth-best in a World Cup innings, but the highest by a team batting first.

# The 18 sixes that South Africa slammed in the innings is an ODI record too, going past the earlier record of 16, which had been achieved twice: New Zealand got that many against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo, while New Zealand were themselves at the receiving end against the Australians in the Chappell-Hadlee Series match at Hamilton
earlier this year.

# This was also the first time there were three century stands in a single innings of a one-day international. After AB de Villiers's second-ball dismissal, Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis added 114 for the second wicket, Kallis and Herschelle Gibbs put together 105 for the third, while Kallis and Boucher added 134 for the fourth.

# South Africa's 221-run victory is now the third-largest victory margin in World Cups. In fact in the last three days, there have been three games which have been won by a margin of more than 200 runs.
